Unhappy found bella my rat dead today

I come back from my mates around 3 and went to check on bella. I tapped her cage as this normally wakes her up. I checked inside and she had died. I don't know how it happened. I rang up pets at home and they said come in we'll give you another rat.
Just got back with my new rat and called it fizz.

It's quite good that they give you another. They didn't even ask for a reciept so if i wnated to i could of got a dumbo rat but i saw this gorgeous one brown all over and a white face

sorry to hearabout your ratty, from experience i can tell you that the rats from pets at home arent the healthiest rats in the world though and they do have a habbit of dropping dead too young and for no apparent reason, you would be much better off in the long run to get in touch with a local breeder and get a pair of rats from them (rats dont like being kept seperatley, they are social animals). Its a shame you are so far away because we have 2 litters that are ready to go in 3 weeks and another litter just born.. hope the new rattie does better than the last one.

Ahhh good ol' Pets At Home. I bet they have more animals coming in than they have going out. The only thing I buy at my local store is parrot food because the shop where I work cant get it.

Sorry to hear about Bella
