Default Urgent Info Regarding Livefood Deliveries (royal Mail Strike)

Hi Everyone,

The Royal Mail have announced two weeks of strike action, that is complex and not as straight forward as they are not delivering on such and such day. Basically until the 8th August there are going to be Postal Worker strikes. Although you may still get your postman walking down your path, its the people behind the scenes that move the parcels up and down the country being on strike that will create the problems. We (Livefoodsbypost.co.uk) have just discovered that today (Monday) will be the last day we are able to post any livefoods this week until further notice! If you rely on other livefoods suppliers online I suggest you contact them asap as they may well (mosy likely) be in the same situation. Whoever you use as a livefood supplier if its us or another online supplier please understand this is totally out of our hands and that e-mails and complaints to us about it dont really help us clear the back log of orders that build up during the strike. We are still able to post livefoods via courier, i advise you check with your supplier to see if this is the same with them. After the last strike livefoods were delayed in the mail by up to four days. I hope this info helps some people,

Thanks
Neil - livefoodsbypost.co.uk

Hi,

Here is a clearer picture for this week for us (Livefoodsbypost.co.uk), there are other livefood suppliers so i suggest you conatct them regarding their strike arrangements if you rely on a weekly delivery.

Monday - last orders 11am, posted today hopefully arrive tuesday.
Tuesay - no orders being posted as there is a strike on Weds.
Weds -Strike - No collection so no orders,
Thu - Strike - No collection so no orders,
Fri - we never post fridays anyway because of the strike there will be such a huge backlog it will not be worth it just this once.
Mon - all backlogged orders will be posted (strikes permitting) expect delays of up to four days for delivery.

Courier service is available at all times during the strike periods.

Their vending machines probably ran out of sugar, or something equally as stupid to make them go on strike.
