Default Reptile insurance

Hiya, not sure if this is the plabe but..

I am looking to insure my BD, i have a quote at £85 a year at exotic direct, but just wondering, are there any cheaper places? what do you use, and also is it worth me insuring him?

You might do better to put the £85 a year into a bank account and save up for vet bills - a lot of insurance companies have really nasty exception clauses.

i agree put it into a high interest bank,a check up is only around £15 and you would have to pay for so much anyway with these insurance people b4 they pay out....

the bank savings sounds the best way..exotic direct offer such a rubbish policy so dont even go there

exotic direct seems to be only insurance company that will do reptiles, i have looked around too, n found its a waste of time, look at it this way, if you put 85 into a bank evey year, and never claim, if ya BD lives 15 years thats 1275 in ur pocket, n not in some snobby insurance brokers pocket.

Yep, im doing that, thanks for the plan. If i did pay £85 for 2 years and nothing went wrong, it would be a waste.
