Default Reptiles + Council Houses

Do councils mind having reptiles in their council housing? Or does it vary?

I live in a private housing association house and am due to do a house swap in a few weeks. The forms i filled in asked if there was any pets to be relocated. I just put down my 2 boxer dogs, which the housing officer had already met. They are due next week to do a house inspection before the exchange, gunna tell them im only looking after the horde while a friend is on holiday if they question me!
I think it tends to be more private house ownes who impose a no pets rule. I hope it goes ok for you!

Varies according to the pencil pusher. Usually they'll allow anything unless it interferes with the neighbours, or they'll allow it until any serious complaints arise. My council seem fine with my reps and cat (not that they officially know what I have of course LOL but I did ask for permission for a couple when I first moved in then after that I didn't bother asking/telling them).
