Default Snakes On a Train!

Has anybody transported reps with them on the train before? Just wondering as this is the quickest/easiest way for me to get to Crystal Palace Reptiles and Basildon...
Thanks!
Ben

Yup, I've done snakes-on-a-train several times. Usually I take them in a pillow case in a carry box inside a backpack - that way, nobody gets stressy about seeing a roving reptile.

That said, I've never tried to transport anything in wintertime or high summer, and if I was, I'd be using more insulation.

Take a small poly box with you and a trasport heat pack.
I usethe heat packs that last 12 hours and you just stick them to the inside of the box.
They keep poly boxes warm for hours.
You can get the heat packs from cheap shops. They are for sports injuries etc.
Don't get the 30 minute ones by mistake as they produce too much heat in a few minutes then they is nothing.
The 12 hour ( or 8 hour ) pack are much better.
Stephen.

I picked up two leos by train before.
They were in a sandwich type box.
and then in a large poly box with temp heat pads in.

Most of my snakes have been collected via train. If there ain't any seats available on the train just let people know you got snakes with you and watch 4 or 5 seats instantly appear free
