Default Phobias!!

as above really? does anyone have any phobias of animals?

mine are spiders...large or small. totally irrational and uncontrolable fear. in fact i cant even call it fear...im petrified of them to the point the thought of an arachnid makes me shiver. i have difficulty looking at them let alone going near them or touching them.

how can i conquer this? as my snakes live in the shed and im too scared to look in the corners of it for fear of what i may see.

duno why im so scared of them, but put me in front of a large burm or retic and im fine.

other strange insects i tend to be a little afraid of, the ones that look really weird, have more than 6 legs...or have strange furr...spikes, horns or the like.

strange eh ?

anyways what are your phobias if any ? and how can i conquer mine....dont even try and say hold one lol

I can understand people's fascination with spiders, there are alot of members on here who love their spiders they have as pets. But they are probably the only animal i have a fear of. I can now stand in a room with them if they're in a tank. I've stood in Cold Blooded enough having a nice conversation with people while i stand next to a tank with T's in. But they just freak me out in the way,e verything about them.
I'm not one to say they should all die etc. I just can't be near them with them on a free roam.

I used to work with people with phobias as I qualified as a clinical hypotherapist back in 1996. ( Clinical hypotherapists are mostly seen in dental surgeries these days )
I even had doctors ask me to work with their patients at one stage.
It is very good for phobias and most people are cured in one 30 to 60 minute session.
I used to use hypnotherapy and NLP jointly in the session and had excellent results.
If you have a phobia it may be worth looking in to as most hypotherapists do not charge as much as you might think.

Spiders big and small. Also cows and bulls...like when you have to walk through a field of them, it's terrifying!

Erm crocogators, lions, Hippo, tiger, Cougar, Bee's, wasps, beetles, spiders, snakes, sharks, box jellyfish,

I have a healthy fear of them all and plenty more.
