Wildlife SupervisorCompany:RSPCALocation:West Hatch, Taunton, SomersetSalary:Starting Salary £17,652 + Benefits Sector:Ecology & Wildlife This is a rare opportunity to join the Wildlife Centre Team as a Supervisor. This exciting role includes the supervision of the daily operation within a busy wildlife rehabilitation centre, line management responsibilities as well as project design and coordination. The post holder will manage a small team of wildlife assistants and be responsible for annual appraisals and providing continued support and motivation. The following skills are essential to the position: * An ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. * Good communication skills and experience in line-management and team leadership. * Experience in UK Wildlife rehabilitation (3 years). A veterinary nursing qualification and/or a zoology/ecology related BSc or equivalent is a strong advantage, as is any zoo work or wildlife related conservation work. The job will involve some evening and weekend work. This post will be offered subject to a Standard Disclosure provided by the Criminal Records Bureau.
