You need to bring reptiles back from the shows by road/ferry.
To take them on planes involves packing/agents/shipping costs... You're usually looking in excess of £750 per shipment. Only really worth it if you're bringing a lot of high value animals over.

tis stupid how you can take snakes by,road or ferry but you have to get packing and things sorted out on a plane and it costs more. You never know they might make a 'snakes on a ferry'

Main reason for it costing more on a palne is that they have to go through a lot more waiting around/checks since the owner rarely travels with them. They also need to go in a pressurised compartment (more money) rather than the hold - they'd all explode if they were put there... The cold up there is also a big issue, they need very careful packing to keep them safe.

As far as I'm concerned you're not allowed to take any pets into the aircraft under no circumstances. Snakes would not be any different.

All animals are supposed to fly in the cargo area (of course they have a special place for live animals), and they must be packed according to IATA and CITES regulations.
