How many hours do you dedicate to your animals each week?

Before Nerys came into my life, l was walking four dogs and catering to two cats.

Dog walks for four dogs, only two of which could be walked together and the other two had to be walked seperately, and this equated to roughly 2 hours per day total, and feeding time taking about 30 minutes each day for the dogs, with the cats taking about twenty minutes daily.

So back then l was dedicating roughly 20 hours per week.

Nowadays..................mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...... ........lol!!

Well with the skunks, chicks, five dogs, 3 cats, 5 chickens,2 meerkats, and four ferrets and assorted rodents, it takes much, much, much, muc...longer.

All in all, with feed prepping, cleaning, sorting, sifting and cleaning, poo cleaning, litter changes, the lot.

Admittedly, my main focus is really the dogs, cats, skunks and occasionally l do the rodents, although this is Nerys pride and joy.

Nerys is a 24 hour time bomb when it comes to time opportunities, and how very little available windows there are!

So l am sure Nerys will inform us seperately what time she allocates to animals, but for this poll, l will submit my time at being roughly 30 hours per week.

ive said 1-5 but it depends. Some weeks if i decide stupidly to feed all my animals at the same time it can be alot more.

well there are 168 hours in a week..

i work, or am supposed to, from 9.30-5.30... five days a week, in an office...

so thats 168 - 40 to begin with..

128 left.

i don't tend to go to bed before 4am.. and am up at 8.30am.. mon-friday..

so thats another 22.5 hours off... down to 105 then.. if i get a lay in on a weekend, its as i go to bed at 7am, and get up at 3pm.. so i might get my 8 hours.. twice makes it 16.. so 105-16.. down to 89..

6 hours of that on the road to lincs and back... 30 mins each morning to get ready for work.. adds another 2.1/2 hours.. a few hours tues/weds/thurs eveings less another 9 say.. 89-6-2.5-9. leaves 71.5

say an hour and a half a day pottering aimlessly.. or rolling fags.. or making tea... takes off say.. 10-11 hours.. takes it down to 60 or so..

i reckon thats me rory bach.. about 60-65 hours a week..

damn... have to try and cut it down to 57 and leave an hour a day for shaggin'

me and trese combined is about 4 hours a day for our reps and one cat, but truth be told most is doen in the morning and way more than half of that is doen by trese.

i tend to be the guy at 3am wondering around hand feeding the leos and cleaning out the insects lol

i said 16-20 . but could even be the next one.
it takes about 2 -3 hours every night to feed them
then i got my handleing in there if they want to come out then thats about 5 - 10 mins per animals - longer for the friendly ones - stan the man!
then i got my axys mr lister the cats..

actually its probabley 21 hours +

Oops! I voted 1-5 before reading it properly... That would be per day!

I spend about 15 minutes every morning, 1 hour every evening and about 5 hours on my two days off, so about 16 1/4 hours a week.
Not bad considering...

Although if you count looking after any animals (not just my own) then you can add another 45 per week - so 56 1/4 alltogether!
