just to clear up a bit of confusion for people that did not know. thanks to some one on another forum that asked the people at hagen.that while it states on the canopy's that the stated wattage for the bulb is 26watt max this in fact is for the bulb and not the canopy.
ie: if you have the 2 bulb version then you can put 2 x 26 watt bulbs in. each bulb you use must be no more than 26 watt. this i did not realize as i read it as 26watt max for the top. learn something new every day.
