Default Banana plant leaves???????

Can iguanas and torts eat these? I've been trying to find any info but can't find sod all LOL.

never heard of that one, so i tried to look it up, and kept finding stuff about eating iguana wrapped in banana leaves

and where can u get banana leaves??!!! I can't even get dandelion leaves unless they r growing in the fields near me! lol

im not sure if a reptile could eat them, i know that we wrap food up in them and steam the food in the leaves for flavour but the leaves are not eaten

Just looked in my huuuuuuge book - no toxins listed. Definitely not harmful to humans, dogs, cats, rabbits or parrots, but no mention of things reptilian.

There's a butterfly house round here with a massive hothouse which also contains both banana trees and free roaming iggies so I guess the iggies have no problem with them. No idea on the tortoises though!
