i tryed joining yesterday and today//says there having maintenance..flickr is really good tho
 but i will give it a try soon have they have sorted it out.

DeviantART always says they've got maintenance going on, just click back then try what you were doing again and most of the time it's ok then.

I have a flickr account but I never use it. I cant be doing with it, much prefer deviantart (even though they did delete about 15 of my images because of "copyright violation", when I held the copyright and proved this to them!).

Nope, it often states "system maintenance", but if you retry in a few seconds it usually works.
