I think the best bet would be to head out for sunrise and sunset, perhaps sunset, then you might be able to get some great shots for up to an hour after the sun has gone.

I like night photography but you really need a cable release, unless you use the cameras timer.

I may have to try a HDR night attempt to see if it works, it may improve some of my evening shots like this and this.

i just had a go at it but guess what i done wrong? i took them hand held..DOH because im setting the auto bracketing and taking 3 shots on continuous shooting it needs to be on a tripod.if it isnt on a tripod the pic will look a bit soft because the program finds it hard to reline it..this was a test..now i know what to do and how to do it il get my tripod back tomorrow from a friends and have a good go.so dont give me to much stick on this pic as it was only a test,

this was taken out my bedroom window,3 shots stacked together using phototmatrixits way over done on saturation..i know i can do a 100times better..i want to get this program now..any one got a keygen for it. LOL

its called photomatrix pro

I prefer the second HDR shot - Why do you have a watermark on the pic?

because its a trial and it cost 99$ to buy it..im unsure if i want to buy it yet so im testing out the trial.2nd picture is better because the camera was rest on a table and i used the shutter release cabale.i used auto bracketing at -1 0 +1 on av mode iso 400 on continuous shooting..3 pics stacked together..no flash used

imo its only worth doing hdr on landscape shots..if u took a single shot of that desk at the right exposure and put it up against hdr i bet u wouldn't be able to tell the difference,.?
