Default any one tryed HD yet?

if i wasnt a macro photographer and was doing stuff like landscapes i would be doing this for sure.i wouldn't care how much the program was i would have to get it..as macro goes u dont need this and tbh it wont do u any favours..but for others stuff like landscapes its a must have imo, HDR photo software & plugin - Tone Mapping, Exposure Blending & HDR Imaging for photography
Examples of tone mapped HDR images and Exposure Blending

your camera offers Auto-Exposure Bracketing (AEB), select the Continuous Shooting mode, make sure the camera is set to Aperture Priority, and select an exposure increment of +/-2. The camera will automatically vary the shutter speed each time the shutter button is pressed, taking several exposures spaced by two f-stops..then u upload it to this program.

u can download a free trial but it will have a big water mark in the middle..but u can still get a feal to what it does and your be amazed..find something to shot with the sub setting or rising in the background,,your be shocked how good it will turn out.

For SLRs only.

I would LOVE this programme. Ive tried the trial once, and plan to try it out on that boarded up window shot you suggested earlier. I will post the results for you soon. I totally agree with you, it looks a great tool for landscape photographers.

I have Photomatix but I prefer PS, it might be worth having a scan of the following link;

NatureScapes.Net - The High Dynamic Range (HDR) Landscape Photography Tutorial

I've attempted HDR a few times, every damn time I've had bright blue clear skies - Bloody annoying.

The skies really do it for me, some of the land looks a little over done on some HDR shots.

But hey, mine look abysmal in comparison.
