Hiya Paul

It will help you if you can find your manual or dowload one online, that way you will be able to learn about the various functions on your camera. Im no expert so wont try to explain it all, but I started a thread about apertures and f numbers on here - so read that one and it is a place to start. I have found a fantastic book which explains it all in simple terms - "Understanding exposure" I would highly recommend it.

I'm sure Macrojunkie - Scott will help explain it for you though. But do try looking back through the threads on here as he has already posted somne great explanations.

Not sure really but looks like you had the camera in program mode. An aperture of 12.8, shutter speed of 1/10th of a second. Probably +2.0 exposure compensation and an ISO of 400!
