Default Very first outdoor pics

ok so finally first time today got to play with the nikon D80 i must say i love it...all done i manual as learning so some shots a a bit off was not worring about light and composition as such at the time.... more on playing with aperture and shutter speeds, iso went into auto must have nudge something ah well i will sort that later....

3rd pic is a stunner.

the dog pics u use to small aperture so only the nose is in focus..f/11 would give u peak Sharpe and max dof.

i havnt a clue about photography in the slightest .........so i wont be using no fancy language

Thanks huni will play again tomorrow weather permitting...as long as im on the right track all is well...the shot im after with the dogs is a clear face and blurred background...as my backgrounds are usually to distracting and in focus..will have a play with the aperture tomorrow thanks huni..i got these too...
