Default Nikon Lenses

Thought this would be a good place to ask.
Im trying to get a few different lenses for my camera, its a Nikon 4300, and im particularly interested in getting the macro lens and the telephoto. I know i need an adapter and ive already sourced that, i was just wondering if anyone on here know of anywhere that i might be able to pick up the compatable lenses for a reasonable price.
Ive done searches but im getting a bit baffled by the specs.
Any help appreciated.

I am a nikon user, but my macro lens is the sigma 105mm. Comparative to the nikkor equivilent it's almost half the price and I love it. The sigma 70-300mm is a telephoto and has macro capabilities but it's not a dedicated macro lens and quite simply can't do the same job the 105 could.

For a zoom lens, I would recommend Sigma's 70-200 and a Sigma 2x tele converter (if compatible with your camera). Works out much cheaper than Nikon and with the converter gives you an effective 140-400 lens.

There's a camera shop on the high street that's apparently really good. I think it's near river island somewhere - that side anyway lol

Discussion Forums @ Nikonians - User menu This is a great forum if you are a Nikon user of any type. They even have a section on macro photography for questions exactly like yours. Also, as we have all seen, Macro Junkie knows his stuff even though he uses a cannon. Sorry Macro Junkie, your probably tired of everyone asking you about it.
