Default Best Macro lens for a Nikon D40

As the title really, which are the best lenses to get to acheive good macro shots with the Nikon D40?

I'm saving up to get a good one. Any suggestions would be great. Examples of shot taken with particular lenses would be nice to look at too.

Thanks in advance for your help.

because putting sigma macro lens up to nikon or tamron u wont see any difrence..sigma is a good price and your get the best macro pics u can with it..a good freind uses 105mm (lordv)and i use to have one..no need to spend lots of money on nikon macro lens when a sigma one thats half the price will take same shots and is just as steardy.

the best macro lens is canon mpe-65..but im sure he hasnt got 500£ to spend on 1 lens.
