A new one for bowie1125, he was admiring the one I made for rural geckos so I made him another one with a photo I took of his leopard gecko titch.

To be honest you aren't really going to get a lot of serious advice on this forum that will help you to learn photography as there simply aren't that many photographers as such using this section. Why not join a photography forum such as Talk Photography™ or Digital camera photo galleries, gallery database, info and forums both very useful sites where you will get help from qualified people.

Thanks for the advice luv, but I'm trying to get into reptile & exotics photography and the Idea of this thread was to advertise that to the people who keep them and find out what they'd want in a photographer and get feedback on my images.

P.S there obviously are lots of photographers ont he forum or we wouldn't have so many photography sections

I meant serious photographers, there aren't many on here - such as Scott and Jarcat etc. If you are serious about photographing reptiles then I hate to tell you but you need to learn more about how to take photographs, which is why I suggested those sites - there are plenty of people that photograph reptiles on both sites too - some who have won national competitions for their photography. Try not to be too tunnel visioned in what you photograph, stepping out of your comfort zone can help you learn and broaden your skills. Its all very well asking on here, but to be honest 99% of people that comment will simply say its a nice photo, you very rarely actually get useful constrictive critiscism which is what will help you to improve. The photographs you have posted do not show any skill, they do not look like you have put any thought into the composition at all, let alone anything else. They look like you have just pointed the camera and taken a shot. Sorry to be blunt, but if you carry on that way then I can't imagine you will get far. I thought I took a few good shots but on actually talking to seasoned and qualified photographers I discover how crap my shots really were, I've improved a bit but have a hell of a long way to go, but I would not be improving at all if it wasn't for the full open and honest constructive critiscism that people have been kind enough to offer.
And please stop calling everyone luv, lol I come from the north too but I hate being called love lol. That's not being snooty as Jarcat was also wrongly accused of, just being open, honest and direct.
