From the Hubble telescope, awe inspiring, beautiful and makes you feel soooo insignificant.

These are nebulas, that can be found on this section of the Hubble site.

this all cant be just shots from the telescope can it?surely its been enhanced using something like photoshop..or is that what they can see and capture with there telescope..if it is its amazing.the pictures are well cool.

its shot with the telescope, then the colours are added from what i understand

Don't quite understand it myself but sounds like 3 different images of the same shot is taken and then merged together.

Gas Pillars in the Eagle Nebula
The picture was taken on April 1, 1995 with the Hubble Space Telescope Wide Field and Planetary Camera 2. The color image is constructed from three separate images taken in the light of emission from different types of atoms. Red shows emission from singly-ionized sulfur atoms. Green shows emission from hydrogen. Blue shows light emitted by doubly- ionized oxygen atoms.

That first pic looks like Jesus holding a baby!!!! Has a beard and everything
