Default going to start breeding

im looking to start breeding reps, ive been keeping them for all most five years and id like to take another step in the hobby
id like to start off with something abit easy as i have no experience so i was think of breeding geckos either cresties or leos
which would be best for me ?

It depends. What exactly do you hope to gain from breeding? If it's to make money, cresties are possibly the better choice (it's difficult to sell little normal leopard geckos). If it's to gain experience before moving to something more difficult, pick the species you like better.

And if it's just because you think a good keeper has to be able to breed a species to be an advanced keeper... think about what you're going to do with the babies and decide which species you'd rather keep.

thanks for reply its just to gain experience before i move on to something a bit more difficult ,i thought breeding geckos would be a good place to start im not doing it for the money its just something that im very interested in

i would breed leo's as they can come in many diferent morphs

Start with what you know.

If you have leos, breed them, if you have cresties, go with them.

The breeding bit is not that hard, its getting the conditions right to entice mating to take place.
