Mum is a Pastel with 3 linked saddles near the end of her tail and dad is a normal with linked saddles higher up his tail. 4 of their babies have quite long stipes down their tails so are they genetic stripes and are the other babies het stripe tail?

Dunno about proper genetics stuff, but informing the buyer like you just told us will certainly help sell them as something that will probably breed true!

it's probably genetic, but you can't sell as such until you prove it out by breeding.

possigble genetic partial stripe is the best you can do probably, and that wouldn't really make them any more valuable than a common, for example most of the commons Gaz sells are out of some genetic stripe/partial stripe project or another.

i think that it is not genetic at the moment it is a selectively bred trait much lik pastel is. If you breed to of the siblings together you should prove that they are gentic stripe but at rhe moment it is only a possibility.
