how can you tell that paternless is carrying the mack snow gene? Was one parent a super snow het patternless? I can't see how you'd visually distinguish it.
it would have to have been distinguished at hatching mate, patternless are really bright yellow with funky patterns when they are fresh from the egg so macks are usually easy to pick out
