Default Mack snow 1st generation cremesicles

I think the spelling is correct (it would make a change for me ). I have embarked on my cremesicle project this year . It will take 4-5 years to produce some top quality animals . My query is from the eggs hatched so far (11 to date) only one has been normal in appearance the rest have all been macks . There is a massive variation in the hatchlings as well some of which show great promise for my long task ahead , they are almost 70% white at birth and change almost daily . I have 20 + eggs still incubating and there will be a few more before my ladies are finished laying .
Are the amount of macks that come from breeding genetic (in this case mack male ) or is it quite random . I used this male last year with patternless and normals and a high percentage of the babies where macks .
I am not complaning , just wondering has any else had a high /low mack yield using the same breeder ? Thanks Pete

Flip a coin ten times.

You've got a 50% chance of getting heads on any given flip... but that doesn't mean that you'll get exactly half of the flips showing heads if you only flip a small number of times. A single Mack Snow has exactly the same chance of passing on his copy of the Mack Snow gene as you have of flipping a heads on a coin.

You're just coming up lucky - don't say it too loudly or Murphy'll come down and give you a run of little normals who won't eat!

Ha!!! Yes, 'who won't eat' lol. Never a truer word spoken in jest! Let the stress begin. I mean show, of course, let the show begin.

You could possibly take a couple years off you projected.By breeding mack ghost's(mack snow hypo's) to topline SHTCT's or even sunglows may as well make them het albino added plus .them breed and mix the offsping to each other to inhance the golden/yellow colour again. Then the next year they'll be better still'etc'etc.

Thay'd be mack snow hypo or mack snow super hypo.I don't get roped into the whole creamsicles thing. As all they are is (Super hypo tangerine plus MACK) it's the mack gene that turns tangerine into the golden/yellow colour of the creamsicle.
