ok so i just asked what the parents of my first two corns were(slow off the mark considering i've had them coming up a year)
apparently the parents were amel and anerythrystic i know in the clutch there were normals anerythristics and snows. is there a way of working out what my two are het for? they are a anerythristic and a normal that i have. the person i spoke to said they were het for amel but places i've looked and tried to work from i come up with het for snow considering their parents i'm wondering incase i decide to breed in the future. i hope this post makes sense my brain has gone on strike if it doesnt tell me and i'll try to explain better![]()

Ok, "Het for snow" means the same thing as "Het for Amel AND Anery".
If one parent was amel and the other parent was anery, you know that each of their offspring has to be at LEAST het for both Amel and Anery. However, your Anerythristic is already Anery (it got an anery gene from mum AND one from dad), so it isn't het for Anery - it's only het for Amel. Your Normal is het for Amel and Anery (aka "het snow").
