Default Am I right????

OK, so my hatchilings are here we have normals, anerys, amels and one snow.

Am I right in thinking that would make the parents normal het amel and anery?

Quite a few have some funky zig zags also.

Yes both parents if normal are het snow(amel and anery)

With the pattern they may even be het for aztec as well.Sounds like you have an interesting clutch there.

Congrats on the clutch.Normals are usually het for something now as it is very hard to find "normal" normals in the UK now

Forgot to say that the nomals are probably going to be het as well.the amels will be het anery and the anery are het amel

Thanks!!

When the first few started hatching they were all normal and then all these pink and black noses started popping through....great.

Real assortment clutch...bit of this and a bit of that.
Thanks again.

Aztec isn't a simple on/off single gene so corns can't be het for aztec.

I'm guessing both parents are normals? If so then yes they are both het for amel and anery.

the normals in the clutch will all have a 66% chance of being het amel and anery
the amels will be 66% het anery
and the anerys will be 66% het amel.

the only way to tell which are het and which aren't would be through breeding when they are old enough.
