Default Heterozygosity of New Royal Morphs

As regards studies of recent colour morphs and Heterozygosity of Royal Pythons in general, is anybody on this forum aware of any attempt to sample DNA by way of a non-invasive method to identify or map these new genotypes?

I am interested in finding out ways of enzymatically amplifying DNA structures especially in cells acquired from faecal samples as opposed to blood samples which prove to be possible overly invasive for this shy species.

I am also particularly interested in the genetic mapping of darker forms of Royal (pewters etc).
