the clutch would all be 50% het albino. Probably the same value as normal royals

yeah a male and a female both het for albino. there are no guarantees though with hets. You could get 5 albinos in your first clutch (lol) but you could be waiting 5 years for 1.
you can probably pick up a pair for abour £300 and try your luck or save a bit more up and get an albino for £800-1000

Or get 2 100% hets and go for the 25% ratio. However your still not guaranteed to get a visual/homoz'.
buy an albino and a het .... u still aint guaranteed a visual.
buy 2 albinos .... if you dont get a visual albino i'd want my money back!!!!

I think for your best bet of producing albino's, you would need say a 1.2 trio of albinos.

A less expensive/risky project I like to implement is a 1.2 Trio of Albino male with 2 100% Het Albino Females.

This way you have the genes there for producing Albinos, but you also produce hets aswell (potentially easier to sell on).

It will also be less of a financial hit if you lose a female due to reproduction.

Finances aren't what it's all about mind, I've just found that this particular trio works for me.

do females often die in captivity when breeding? or is this a small risk?
