Question What is an Ultramel?

Ok, there is a lot of talk about "Ultramels" and "Ultramel Anery's"

What are they and how do you end up with one.....apert from spending loads of dosh?

The good thing with the ultra gene is getting results in the f1, an ultramel to an amel will give 50% ultramels straight offBonus

150 for ultramel and 250, well 200 at the mo isnt much for something being offered for the 1st year on any scale in the uk really.

Very true, i was just curious as to how the Ultramel developed...what was breed to what?

well you need to put it to something with amel in it really to see the best results.

There's a suspicion that the gene may have originally come from grey rat snakes - particularly the "white oak" phase.

I know this testing is in progress now to find out if you get all ultramels if you cross a White Oak grey rat to an Amel corn.
