Default Outcross?

When people talk of the outcross morph in leopard gecko's, what exactly is this?

Thanks

"Outcross" isn't a morph.

It's a reference (generally) to crossing an incomplete dominant morph animal or a selectively bred animal to a totally unrelated line.

For example, if I took a Tremper Giant and bred it to a wild-caught Eublepharis macularius, the offspring might be referred to as "Tremper Giant Outcross"... or "Wildcaught Outcross Tremper Giant".

It's one rather obnoxious way people get caught out, too - you see "Giant Line Outcross" and you think you're getting a Tremper Giant, but what you're ACTUALLY getting is a normal who came from one Giant parent.

Sort of like "Mack Siblings".

Ahhh ok, i see, we have two red stripes, that came from outcross parents, so we don't really know what they'll produce, we we're gonna try and breed one of them ( the one with the stronger patterning) with our aptor het raptor's or eclipse het raptors - i wonder what we'll get!!

I never saw the point of stating 'siblings'. its all a con for getting that little bit more cash for a normal!
