amel (albino) het for opal?

im just not sure

yup, thats just amel het lavender

so if for example you got 2 amel het for lavender would 25% of the babies be lavender or albino lavender (opal). this has been buggin me for ages lol :P

none of the young would be 'just' lavender (rather than amel lav) - both parents are homozygous amel so all their offspring would be too.

2 amel het lavender bred together would give...

25% amel
50% amel het lavender
(these first two would be indistinguishable so the amels would all be described as 66% poss het lav)
25% opal
