Default possibly the cheapest viv built EVER !!!

my dad went over to ikea and bought a few pieces of wood... knocked them together and got this...

cost him under£5 COMPLETE even with the bulb and mesh to make guard...

most expensive bit was the glass door at £1 !!!!!

the uv is not included in the price :P obviously.. but everything else is






little fellas settling in nicely.. straighjt under the bulb for a bask :P

cheaper than a RUB !!!

we went yesterday and bought a big double wardrobe that is going to be cut down to about 5 feet then split at the bottom so its got 2 vivs on bottom.. and the top one long 5ft viv...

cheapstack.. and bargain at £19.95 glass i get cheap from a friend

the uv clips broke at last minute.. and ended up using something else :P and tats where dad fixed them...

iventualy the viv will be built up.. it is now decorated

Nope but the UV from the sun is strong enough to penetrate right down to our ground level. Light from UV tube is only good for 8-12" (dependant on bulb, although some claim further). Every inch away from that bulb sees a drop in beneficial UV for the animal. Baby beardies especially need a good source of UVB.

I too would either move it down or build stuff up so they can get closer to it.
