The Emmy's viv'. 3x2x2' lined with fablon and all joints silicon sealed. Cypress mulch for substrate, Reptile radiatior for heating, controlled by microclimate dimming stat' Temp' & humidity measured at centre and cool end. I'll be changing the fluorescent tube for an LED light tube as the fluor' tends to warm the viv up too much

I had black around a smaller viv with a yearling GTP in, it looked too...........trendy, I think would be the word, not natural. Greg Maxwell has green in his and if it's good enough for Greg...........

Bit of a pain to dismantle the viv and then cover it and reassemble again, but worth it for saving it from swelling and getting wrecked. I'd get flatpacked next time and save myself a bit of time, I'm thinking about getting a rainforest scene digitally printed onto vinyl and using that next time, it would go on in one piece per side too, no overlaps

thanks, the vinyl is sold on ebay by the metre and also on rolls. Or you could try and persuade your local friendly graphics/sign shop to sell you some of their stock. it's a piece of p so long as you clean the viv panels well, have a sharp knife, straight edge and take your time. Then (re)assemble and just silicon seal the joints as normal. job jobbed
