well at last we got our rescue Water Dragon home... she is a 4 yr old female we have named Star...
she is severely malnourished with a dislocated hip, mouth rot, snout damage, tail necrosis, she had been gravid ALL the time since she was tiny.. as she had been in on her own witha very large aggressive male...
she had been at the vets for 9 days in which he administered oxytocin to help bring out her eggs as she had been holding them too long... she also had been given antibiotcs, calci-vit and critical care formula...
her tail bones stick out and basically ive never seen such a horrific case of neglect... u can see and feel every rib bone.. and she has basically no crest spikes left at all and her body is badly scarred... and i truly dont think from the photrogrpahs ive taken of her its possible to SEE the neglect....
she is only 145 grams
however after 10 hours of taking apart an old viv and fitting the electrics then sanding wood, screwing it all in decorating, waterproofing, drilling in shelves, and callibrating.. here we have it..
