Improved boa viv

Thought I'd post some pics of this 4ft viv I've been doing up the past few weeks... bought for £50 from another member on this forum, and delivered by Reptile Taxi.
It began life looking like this:

I wasn't happy with the vents and light fixtures as they weren't very secure and looked pretty old... so out they came. Then I:

* Sealed all the inside edges with silicone sealant.
* Installed shiny new vents, which also have mesh on the outside too for extra security.
* Fitted a new light fixture in a central position.
* Fitted an AHS heater.
* Gave the glass doors a sanding on the tops & bottoms, as they were a really tight fit. Also added some sticky ridged handles.
* Put some glass runners up the sides of the doors too, which sealed up some gaps nicely (the doors weren't a great fit).
* Bought a nice cheap shelf from Wilko, varnished it and put that in today!

Next project - my first viv build from scratch!!
Planning to attempt a 5x2 viv this summer, maybe a couple of them infact. Think I can manage it, I'm really not too bad at this DIY lark, it's just finding the time
