Red face First set-up

Just though i'd pop sum pics up my viv. Used a 2ft old fish tank, bought coffee table from ikea £12 (cut up for sides, back, and lid), vent from B&Q £5, bits n bobs from hollybush £55 and 2 leo's £45, not bad really. Let me know what you think.

I got 2 leopard gecko's which i picked up tonight. They seem to be ok at the moment, but if i have any problems i will have to make room for the 3 foot fish tank i got knocking around.

Here's Yoshii (meaning beauty / lovely) and Egao (meaning smiling face)

Did you take the glass back and sides off the fish tank then put the wood on or did you just stick the wood over the glass? If that makes sense?

Just be careful with loe's on sand, you wouldnt want them getting impacted.

Red face

Just put the wood around the glass, could make one in about half hour now Leo's are doing fine on the sand, they aren't clumbsy eaters, they are pooing properly and they are very healthy. Just trying to handle yoshii more often as she is a bit skittish, just leave my hand in the tank for about 20 mins n she walks over it sometimes. Egao (the bigger one) loves to be handled, she comes out n sits on my shoulder or chills out on the bed for a bit. Well chuffed. Going to pic up 3 terrapins 2 turtles later for the mrs, so a new set-up will be on the agenda for today

Can i ask if thats calci sand or play sand that your using?

Reason im asking is because if its calci sand you need to take it out its calcium carbonate and will encourage the leos to eat it !
