Lightbulb building a new viv?

hi people,

im currently building a new viv for my iguana and the size is 4ft x 4ft x 2ft and im a little stuck on what to use for the front, i dont really want to use glass as a sheet at 4ft x 2ft is quite a size and im just thinking of my iguana's well being, i was just thinking of using polycarbonate and just wondered if anyone has used this? and just want to know would it be ok to use,

thanks in advance, lee

6mm toughened glass is strong enough to withstand a iggy

or a safer option is laminated glass, it cracks, it chips but it will hold together until its replaced, it doesn't fall to pieces at all,

best option is to not go for a piece of glass the full size. put a plinth half way up and have 4 doors, 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom.
