Default Beardie Viv advice

Looking to build a new viv for Spike (6x3x2)

Just wondered what you would advise material wise. What kind of wood for a start, I've heard conflicting ideas re MDF, Conti-board, Plywood etc. Also what would you use to seal the joins etc once the viv is built?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Most people use contiboard, it looks better and is covered in melamine which protects it from any spillages.
Aquarium sealant is the best bet to seal it, its non-toxic and waterproof

Cheers, just been pricing contiboard, looks like i could knock it up for around £70 as already have all lights and fittings.

Off to B&Q i guess!
