Im building a new viv in a few days hopefully, i was just wondering where you get the plastic runs from and how do you fit them ?

markandwend or lotus nut sell them cheaper than B&Q, vivbuilder or Ebay.

you can glue them down or use hardboard tacks to pin them down.

How much are they from b and q cos they have everything else (apart from glass) that i need so might as well get it all done at once.

not sure to be honest as most B&Q's don't seem to sell it. Seems to be hit and miss if they do or don't

i wouldnt use pins on ur runners the glass wont run properly

if you use the flat headed pins they run fine, you just need to make sure you knock them down flat.

the runners markandwend and i sell have a raised ridge running anlong the length so the nails would not catch the glass (asuming you nail at side of the ridge), you can also use silicone if sealing viv and dont want to but other adhesive.

Yep Lotus Nut, the bottom ones should really have the raised ridge on them, they help the glass run better than flat ones.
