Hi,

Just trying to design my own viv, and looking at using melamine for the top, bottom and sides. Just not sure at the minute what to use as the back? What do you all use?

Also, when installing vents, do you normally buy 2 and put 1 each side, or just have one on the outside?

just use the same stuff for the back as the top and sides etc,its cheap enough and upto the job.

Vents - I put them in the sides. One at the bottom front and one at the top back. Hoping to get some circulation

backing - For small vivs it's probably ok to use hardboard, but for big vivs you probably need to use contiboard backing.
