Default new project

right well i bought a viv about a year ago its in go condition and i did use it for my veiled b4 i sadly lost her about 5 months ago and i really dont want another chameleon for awhile as it is still quite upsetting when i think of my little girl i lost. so i have looked into selling this viv but i will lose so much money so i have thought to make use of it. so it is about 4 foot hight by 15 inchs deep and 2 foot wide heres a picture,
so what i am going to do is make it into 3 two foot vivs, so my hoggie will live in there and two growing up vivs for a few snakes i have in mind once the reptile shows start up and then maybe 1 day use one of the vivs for babies. what you think and all views are welcome and i will post more photos up once i start it

the vents are at the top cant really see it in the picture and b4 you ask she died from being egg bound not respiratory promblems, sadly i did what one of the shops where i live told me and i found out they knew fk all and i belive why i lost her and i belive i learnt from my mistakes and do my reseach and not to trust shops and if i did have another chameleon i would put more vents in it or a full mesh cage, i used to keep the big glass door open a bit on warmer days

Sorry for your loss, I think that converting what you have would be best option like you say as it doesn't look ideal for chameleons, certainly lacking ventilation.

yeah i no, just take my advise and dont take shops advise as there are more untrusting ones out there than ones you can trust, one day i will get another chameleon but not yet, once i move out and have my own place i will have a really big mesh cage for a pair of panthers or have a open room for a veiled which are really cool as all you need is a couple of tall plants in a corner of the room with a driper and a basking and uv light fixed to the wall
