I think you can add more plugs to a normal mat stat as long as you dont exceed the maximum wattage.
Im not sure of this though so dont go blowing you house up on my advice

yeah i have heard of this b4 with no problems but i would use a 300w thermostat not a 100w mat stat to be on the safe side

Im guessing you woud just put the plugs from an extention leed where the single would normaly be.

Also in that case it would have a built in surge protector, That should make it extra safe
