building viv help!
im going to be building a viv.its for a cham so i want to waterproof it.i hear alot about epoxy resin,floor varnish ect what is best to use.also what paint can i use underneath before sealing.

i built my own chameleon viv and the inside was painted in blagdon pond paint then edges sealed ...it worked a treat a small tin did 4 coats and a fair bit left over

balgdon looked good.the pond paint or the g4 stuff?how long did you air it?what colour is it?

the pond paint ...i used the stone colour in mine ...doesnt give of any fumes and my chameleon was in 2 days later

what size was the viv you gave three coats too.does it come in other colours?how long has it held out the humidty/spraying.sorry for questions.just need the advice

viv is 3ftx3ftx20 inches .....other colours not sure think they do blue and green ....vivs been up a while now gets sprayed twice a day not had any probs with it at all

why dont you use laminated (just a plastic coating) Mdf board or chip board and just silcone the edge so no water can get through to the board itself????
