Hi,
As I am in Estonia the normal pet shops, B&Q's etc are not available to me am in the process of converting a 4' aquarium into a viv for my Royal, I have removed the two end panes of glass and replaced with wood with ventilation holes, and on the top I have secured a piece of wood, with 2 hinged doors and 2 mesh wire panels. I want to put a light above one of the mesh panels to light and heat it, but cannot seem to find any of the bulbs talked about on these forums. Would something like the bulb Satco S2850 50R20/Plant 50W 120V R20 Medium Base Indoor Plant Reflector Flood Light Bulb be any good for this or not?

hmm..bit confused on that bulb.. it says n/a on light output so is it a blacklight? or does it just give heat?
its called an indoor plant reflector but i dont know what that means... If it is just a pale light emitting bulb that gives off good heat then i reckon itd be ideal. otherwise a standard Satco S3226 100R20 100W 120V R20 Medium Base Frost Reflector Incandescent Light Bulb will heat and light for daytime. i think white light is ok for royals bask isnt it?
