Default Hubby Building me Vivs

Gotta love hubby. I decided I wanted to get snakes again and he starts building me vivs! A viv stack in fact! so pleased. not much to do. just the back to put on now but the measurement was 4mm out so got a mate with a table saw coming down at weekend to take that bit off. Then he can put the back on and it's done. got the glass sorted aswell.
Just heating and lighting to go and it's done! yay!
Of course Alex, our 5 year old daughter is now very proud of her daddy for making her viv's for mine and her snakes.
Pictures soon as it's finished, promise.

You may want to adjust the date on your camera!

(Unless I've gone and travelled forward in time again )

That one, each viv is 24inch x 18 inch x 18 inch for my Western Hognoses.

Hubby is now going to build 2 stacks of 4 at 36inches x18 inches x 18 inches for the Corns and Kings. Thinks he's the buisness now making these and he's more than happy to make more. Our daughter wants them along one wall of her room now aswell, she's only 5! lol

Yay! Fitted the back on last night! All it needs now is the heating and lighting, just waiting for it to turn up in the post! happy happy.

(soon as I sell last pup then I can start on the 3 foot viv stack lol)

hey great job pimperalla...wish i could do stuff like that, and what snakes you getting you may not even need lighting..heat pads would probably give enough heat..

Looks good, Lou and myself are looking to do the same thing of a 4 stack but 48 instead of 36.

Any chance of your hubby writing up a bit of guide or just some lessons learnt from his project. Would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Brian
