Default Safe silicone?

hey all,

Need to use some silicone in one of my vivs, people generally say to use a aquarium silicone but what i was wondering was if anyone knows what the actual ingredients that are in silicone that actually are unhealthy for reptiles?

Or anyone know the cheapest place to buy aquarium silicone???

Cheers!

I know that loads of fish, reptiles, amphibians, inverts come into contact with aquarium grade silicone every day, so I'm fairly sure that it's safe to use.

I know that kitchen/bathroom sealant usually contains fungicides to stop it going black, so I'd rather not use it near my animals. I dont know of any evidence that's it bad.
