Default Converting hut to animal room . . .

Okdky, due to impending baby arrival, and my partner moving in, we are going to have less space / more animals. (He has a full set for work too)

We are looking at getting a hut to house the majority of the animals as we just wont have the space in the house. I've searched a few threads to find some ideas, but when hut is only 3 letters 'search; is kinda difficult

So, we are looking at possibly housing couple of snakes (although i'll fight for my babies to stay in ) couple of Ts, couple of scorps, assorted amphibs, snails, millies, cockroaches, sticks etc etc, and maybe the furries too, so rats, gerbils . . .

Any major dos and donts for converting / building a hut? obviously i know we need to look at insulation / heating / cooling / power etc etc, but anything else we should be considering?

xx

if I was you, id plaster board the walls inside and put loft insulation in, if your not on a budget use kingspan its excellent insulation but not as cheap, much easier to work with though
