Default Bark Substrate

Hi Guys, you know the bark subsrate used for snakes bedding etc, can you use lanadscape bark chippings aswell or wouldnt you recomend it? Only ask cos its half the price for twice as much.

dependant on the bark, some like Pine, can be poisonous to serpents...

I would of thought you could though, just make sure you oven/microwave it real nice

Most of the landscape bark is like ash or coconut bark etc. I might give it a go. Cheers

i would mate, thats probabaly all the reptile bark is lol, then just charge high prices.... just make sure you bake it etc
