how many mats 2 a stat
ok ive got 4 heat mats can i run them all off one mat stat? if i get either the 300w or 600w one???

yes you can but all the mats should be the same size so as not to have some getting warmer than others. basically each mat will have a wattage,you'll be able to see it on each mat, so say youve got 4 x 12 watt matts that equals 48watts so any thermostat over that can handle them i.e a 100watt mat stat will do. hope that helps. Exactly what i was going to say! I was running 5 x 14 watts mats off a 100 watt mat stat and they worked fine, just have a thermometer in each viv to keep an eye on the temps.
