how much should it cost to build a viv from B&Q made from mdf

the viv would be 4x2x2

i am just looking for the price of the wood and getting it cut too

MDF works out being dearer than conti-board as it needs all sealing in and varnishing.

Yep, B and Q do your first 4 cuts for free, but they normally do a few extra ones for nothing to.

looks like there will be a 4ft viv here soon

i am goin to the sspca tomoro to see if they still have the wee male boa they had last time i ws in and if so he will be comin home with me

its £16 for a 8f x 4f piece of 18mm mdf.

nah less that that mate.. its about a tenner for an 8x2 piece of white contiboard. One in half for the top and bottom, one in half and one half in half again for the back and sides. Then there's just the wood needed for the plinth.
